Treat yourself to some decent bread from Wayan's or Casa Luna and ask your hotel to toast it for you :-) Makes breakfast a much pleasanter experience.
It may be too far for you but we continued walking through Penastenan, down by the rice fields and ended up in Nuyah Kuning (bottom end of the Monkey Forest). It was really enjoyable but we had plenty of offers of "transport"?
