We have just stayed at the Grand Mirage for the 3rd time. 1st time was last October.

The rooms are good but not fantasic (I guess it all depends on where you normally stay). The photo's on trip advisor are pretty accurate. The ocean view suites are much better than the ocean view/garden view rooms (but a lot more $$ too :) )

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 12) and we do the all inclusive. Our kids really like the resort, the games room, been able to order their own drinks etc. We only stay for 4 or 5 nights at the beginning or the end of our trip. To be honest I think much longer and you would soon tire of the same food all the time.

Kids stay for free so it is quite good value as a family, but if we didn't have the children I don't think we would do the all inclusive.

All the food and drinks menu's are in US dollars....It's around $6 for beer and cocktails/mixed spirts are around $12 - $15. The food on the menus is very expensive for what it is so if you were not all inclusive you would no doubt eat out quite a lot.

The breakfast is good but can be very busy.

Most of the rooms have 2 double beds so if you want a king you would need to request it in advancce.

hope this helps.

Oh I just realised you were just thinking of staying 2 nights. I think to book all inclusive you need a minimum of 3 nights, although you can upgrade when you get there for $75 per person per night.
