we stayed in a privately owned 2BR at the Novotel last year. No private pool but we wouldn't have used it if it did have one. The pool area(s) at the hotel are fantastic.
Google Penthouse Ruby Nusa Dua if you want to check it out. We booked through Flip Key direct with the Australjan owner. Very easy to deal withas was his Balinese manager.
The apartment was beautiful & well-equipped (even had a washing machine). Manager picked up & dropped off at an outside laundry for us though, much cheaper than.going through the hotel. You still have full use of all the hotel facilities, including restaurant/breakfast djscounts, free kids club etc. Highly recommend it :-)
