2 weeks to go...been a few years (3) myself and the Navigator are returning to pick up the hostage and cucumnavigate the "Island of the Gods" once more.... a quick look in the old passports shows that it will be the 28th visit since 1979.....Ah ...the flying Kangaroo took us there for a little over $300 return OUCH !! with the exchange rate at about 360 rp to the dollar...about $2 per night at mummahs losmen on JL Legian with breaky..bananna and hot tea....power out at 8.30pm every night.... the only late bar was Rum Jungle, and Ubud was a goat track in the hills. Found the Sunset Club...did the tour with a hang glider, brother wanted to be the first to fly Bali..beaten by one week with a Frenchman sneeking in first (cheese eating surrender monkey).... first to water ski legian beach behind a inflatable... Mushrooms at Juniors arround the corner from Casablanca ...yes one month of exploration that we try to out do every trip.......and have indead done so on the odd one. Ernesto with his Lebonise blond ???? Hard to beat BUT I WILL ENDEVOUR TO at least MATCH on this trip.
