So lovely to read your HNR. I always comment to others on how things have changed in Bali over the years.
But upon reflection I look at how over the past 25 years of visiting Bali I have changed.

From partying hard on the Peanuts Pub Crawl bus on the first few trips I was interested in how many happy hours we could find and only ate at our hotel (and Bali Aussie and Yani's).

Next stage in my 20's we started staying at upmarket hotels, had ditched the Pub Crawls and started hanging out at the beach bars on Kuta Beach. Restaurants were still hit or miss!

In my 30's I became a mum, so for 10 years we stayed in family hotels. Main aim of the holiday was to get some sun, a few cocktails by the pool and have a daily massage. Started to enjoy the lovely new restaurants Bali had to offer.

Now in my 40's I get to do whatever takes my fancy on the day.
I love the Beach Clubs but still love to sit on the beach with a cheap drink.
I shop at Centro but will always check out my favourite markets (Kuta Square and Melasti Street).
I love to eat at Sarong and Mama San but will still stop by Bali Aussie (now Moo Moo's) to catch up with staff.
I love to visit the upmarket Spas but I still have my daily $5 massage on the beach.
Still looking out for Happy Hours but will happily pay $15 for a great cocktail.

Enjoy your trip and enjoy the wonderful things that Bali offers to you at this stage of your life. Isn't it great to know Bali will always be there for us!
