Beach Melati - ground or 1st floor?

Just wondering if anyone who has stayed at the Beach Melati can tell me pros & cons of the ground and first floor apartments. We need to book flights but dates will depend on which apartment we choose, ground or 1st. We are 2 adults, 2 kids 3yo & 13yo.
