a bad rap, but we stayed there a couple of years back & we quite liked it! The breakfast is nothing to write home about, but were happy enough with coffee, toast and fruit. The pool is long & narrow & we found it was nice to be able to hop in right outside our room (we had a ground floor room, which we like). The rooms are, as people have said, sparce and basic, but relatively modern & fitted with the basics of what we needed, though they're not all that well lit. The shower is a big, walk-in style with plenty of hot water. The bed was comfy, though the king size we had was actually 2 single mattresses joined together on a base, and was comfy. Our daughter used the daybed as her bed & there was still room for the suitcases where the adjoining room door was. It had a good fridge & a mozzie zapper in the room as well as a tea & coffee facilities. The complimentary afternoon tea was not worth turning up for. Overall, for the price, we were happy with it.
