FYI, padang food is sold in small shops, usually with a glass cabinet in the front. These places are quite inconspicuous, and seem to mainly cater for local people. Perhaps the original village-based warung...
There has been the occasional mention of padang food on the Forum over the years, but not much lately.
If no recommednations come forward, I'll try my luck at a couple in Ubud and report later.
