We stayed in room 266 which is alongside the pathway of the pool. Great spot. Nice little balcony and you can see who is coming and going without it being too noisy. The poolside cottaged were not available as they were being revamped while we were there. They seemed to be repainting and general maintenance but I wouldn't say they were being replaced with villas.
