Just travel and enjoy, please! I have never had issues with bags locked or unlocked. As for plastic wrapping them, please get a life. Think of the environmental wrongs in that compared to almost no evidence for luggage problems, unless we are thinking Corby, in which case you need to stop listening to the popular media!
