Deluxe rooms are really nice. there were a few of us who went at xmas time and all the deluxe rooms were roomy - we all enjoyed staying at MBR - loved the location - breakfasts were adequate and close some great eating spots & shopping. The hotel has a beachfront cafe/restaurnat where breakfast is served - from here if you turn right when looking at the ocean there are some really lovely beachfront cafes, restaurants. All good for our group.
