There are no newly built rooms at the Griya, just renovated. The deluxe rooms to the left of the beach pool may be what you mean as these were completely gutted. They are now very Euopean in the interior, glass walled bathroom (were originally see through but not now) and rain shower. The garden view rooms are to the left of reception, at the back and originally looked over a fish pond and garden. The fish pond is now an above ground swimming pool surrounded by timber decking. These rooms were renovated, ie new furniture and now have TV and tea/coffee facilities. Yes, ground floor has a small terrace and upstairs has a balcony.
