In Jan we had a 2 hr stopover in brisbane. We didn't get through customs before our connecting flight was gone. Our stopover lasted 6 hours. You have to go to the domestic airport on the train and take all your luggage with you. I hope you have a better time than we did. Although I must say the airport staff were very helpful and gave us a coupon for a meal while we were waiting.
