7 day visa / Pacific Blue - tip

Flew into Bali last Friday with departure to Adelaide booked for Friday morning just gone at 12:35, that being the eighth day. When I was buying visa I told them I was leaving Thursday and bought a seven day pass. If I said I was leaving on the Friday they would have insisted I needed a 30 day visa. With that time of departure you are through immigrassi well before midnight on the 7th day and no questions asked. A cool US$15 saved. I did have a couple of contingency plans, plan A was to remind the Balinese attendant that officially the next day in Bali commences at 6:00 AM (dina paek pukul enam - in broken Balinese), plan B was to pay the US$20 fine for overstaying 1 day.
