Our ever vigilant Westpac Bank advises us that two withfrawals from our account were made, $1,500, each last week. The only place we used the C/Card was at Kumala Pantai in Bali.
Similar occurence 5 years ago at Puri Raja (when I was supposed to be just arrived home) I was debited with expensive saddlery and other horsey equipment in Japan.
My suggestion is that the paperwork from C/Card transactions are being handled by an Agency in the area, where the fiddle occurs.
Money will be returned and Westpac are still following up.
Next time, all cash only, under lock and key until needed.
