Which I wasnt hehe. I always assume Kuta and then it is worth changing money in Cakra as the rate is poor in Kuta. If guests ask about changing money when they book, I suggest they stop at Melatis on their way to Kuta.
But yes I have also changed money in Senggigi before I discovered Melatis and never had any problems - except for them paying my driver a commission.... however as the driver was my brother in law and I got the listed rate it was no skin off my nose.
