Lots to see north south east and west of Ubud.
Tegallalang 5kms of shopping.
Taro elephant park
Bali zoo
Bali bird park
Bali safari and marine park
Goa Gajah elephant cave
Walk thru the monkey forest at different times.
Visit the ubud market, morning and afternoon and see the changes.
Listen to the musicians practice opposite in the palace grounds.
Wander from TS to the market by foot.
Watch the children on the soccer field when they have finished school.
One later afternoon take the risk and see how many herons you can see coming in to roost in the trees in Petutu, about 5 km north of Ubud. We were hoping to see a few thousand but instead spotted probably 50. Good fun all the same. We also past the local man made fishing dam where the fishing club meet.
Go for a walk out on to the rice paddies from Tegal Sari. You walk along the verges and enter in front of the reception area, just before rooms 11 and 12.
Do a bike ride starting at Kintamani and back down to Ubud area.

Oh course many of these activities are dependant on the ages of your children.
Visit the Neka Art Museum.
