I'm not a perm person but I have a hairdresser who is a good friend of mine and personally I don't think getting a perm in Bali would be a very good idea.
Reason being is the humidity may make it drop after a couple of days and if your going to be doing a lot of swimming it would not be a good idea, as this can also make the perm drop. Perming solutions can be very damaging to the hair, so if you are certain that you want to get a perm in Bali then look for a hairdresser who has had a lot of experience at perms.
Good luck
