I found when we first met our sponsor children, it was an overwhelming experience. The poor child/children were quiet and shy, I was overcome with tears. This is something I had wished to do for a number of years, to sponsor a child.
Going to their family home was amazing. They have so little, they have such basic everyday possessions, but they appear so happy, they appear to have such innner warmth, peace and happiness. We have too much and I am sure dont appreciate it.
You are going to experience something special, I hope. I also hope that you can continue to develop a wonderful relationship.
