While in Bali during Oct-Nov. I went to the Arc Clinic and had Botox and Restalyn filler. I must say I was extremely pleased with the results although I did have to go back for a touch up with the Botox.(no charge)
I have had a lot of positive comments from people saying that I look younger and the holiday must have agreed with me. No-one knew that I was going to have the procedures, so I am glad that my friends noticed I looked "younger".
I would recommend Dr Murino (I think that is how you spell his name). He was very professional, the premises spotless and he opened the Botox and Restalyn in front of me. He is also a very lovely man and didn't hesitate to top up the Botox when I called to say that my left eyebrow was not as good as the right.
I thought I would need the thread lift but he said that the restalyn and Botox was all I needed at this stage as he didn't think I had that many lines.
He has a good business and after talking to him I found out that 90% of his clients come from Australia and of that 90%, 50% come from W.A.
The Botox should last 4-6 months and the Restalyn 12 months. I will definitely be going back next year and will be having the Aquamid filler as it last for 7 years and then after that I will probably need the thread lift.
The whole procedure only took 30 mins. and then I had to stay out of the sun and avoid hot food and drinks for 24 hours.
I had filler in my top lip and really loved the result although my eldest son said that "I had fish lips and to get inside so no-one could see me." But after the swelling went down my lip looked quite natural.
I am really pleased with the results and the little bit of pain that I had was worth it. Although I must say that the only pain I had was when the Restalyn was injected into my top lip. Even though I had a local aneth.I could feel the top lip being done.
For the Botox they ice the area to be treated beforehand so you don't feel anything. Overall I am very happy with the results so if you are thinking about giving it a go I say go for it you won't be disappointed.
