to go back to Puri Raja... we have stayed at MBR and wouldn't stay there again. The food is awful - breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pools - well everyone here has said what they are like. The staff are terribly unfriendly and unhelpful. The position of the hotel is EXCELLENT and the spa at Melasti is also EXCELLENT, as are their staff. I frequent the spa, but we always stay at Puri Raja. Each to their own though... that is just our opinion.
